Overview

Clipwell is a native macOS screen recorder. Privacy is a product requirement: Clipwell does not collect, store, transmit, or process personal data for analytics or advertising.

Data collection

Clipwell collects no personal data. Specifically:

No personal information
No usage analytics or telemetry
No crash reports sent to us
No cookies or trackers in the app
No account required

Your recordings

Recordings are written to a folder you choose on your Mac. Clipwell does not upload recordings to our servers. If you share a file, that is outside Clipwell.

Permissions

macOS may ask for Screen Recording, Microphone, and Camera access. Those permissions are enforced by the system and used only to capture the media you request.

Website

This marketing site is static. It does not run a login system or analytics SDK. Hosting providers may log standard request metadata (IP, user agent) as part of serving pages.
